Service Description

The PacBio Sequel II is a powerful long read sequencer that can provide high quality, long read data to achieve a wide variety of research goals. We offer many different PacBio library preps to meet your specific needs. Our long-read sequencing projects are tailored to meet your needs – please contact us about your project and research goals so we can offer consultation and more specific advice depending on your project.

Recommendations

To complement our PacBio services, we offer Oxford Nanopore Technologies library prep and sequencing. We have had great success with projects that use this service performed in tandem with PacBio to fully elucidate long stretches of genomes.

We offer high molecular weight (HMW) DNA extraction if you need assistance in obtaining high quality HMW DNA. Clean, high quality, HMW DNA is essential to the success of library prep and sequencing on the PacBio system. The mass of DNA required depends on the type of prep you would like us to perform, which can be a large amount in some instances.
